Polyolefin U-bolt is a seamless, vulcanized, polyolefin material that can be applied to all types of U-bolts. Polyolefin U-bolt is excellent for eliminating corrosion problems on piping in refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, rigs and the shipping industry. It serves as an excellent shock / vibration absorber for plastic, FRP or glass-lined pipes.

Corrosion Preventive Solution
Accelerated corrosion can occur between pipes and uncoated U-bolts due to metal contact between the U-bolt and pipe (galvanic corrosion). This interaction can be completely eliminated by utilizing a PTFE pipe support pad and the polyolefin protected U-bolt followed by fluorocarbon coating on the base material.
